MINIMUM 1 YEAR OF RECENT FORKLIFT EXPERIENCE
Connect Staffing is seeking an experienced Carrier- Hyster Forklift Operator for EWP (Engineered Wood Products) to fill an opening at a lumber handling warehouse in Riverside, CA.
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – Close (up to 12 hours), with OT as required. Saturday OT may be required.
Requirements for Carrier-Hyster Forklift Operator:
Minimum 1 year of recent forklift experience (stand-up or sit-down Hyster forklift preferred).
Pass a drug screen and background check.
Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.
Ability to perform physical tasks including pushing, bending, carrying, and reaching.
Ability to stand, walk, and operate equipment for extended periods.
Must have steel toe shoes – other PPE provided on site.
Familiarity with chain saw use and handling 60’ material is required.
Prior experience in roles such as Forklift Driver, Forklift Operator, Industrial Truck Operator, Lift Truck Operator, Reach Truck Driver, or Material Handler is a big plus!

Responsibilities of the Carrier-Hyster Forklift Operator:
Operate a Hyster forklift to transport, load, and unload materials.
Keep stock material areas organized, full, and clean.
Consolidate and move materials as required.
Perform daily forklift safety checks.
Empty trash and wood bins.
Assess tasks, prioritize work, and coordinate with team members.
Work in environments with sawdust, dust, lumber handling, and outdoor weather exposure.
