Territory: Columbus, OH and surrounding areas - Daily Travel & occassional overnight/weekend work
Position Overview:
An established organization supporting the construction and materials industry is seeking a Field Service Technician to support customers through on-site equipment installation, service, and technical support. This is a remote, field-based position with frequent local and regional travel. Training, tools, and a company vehicle are provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and service customer equipment at job sites
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems
- Support customers with basic equipment operation and maintenance
- Maintain inventory of parts, tools, and service materials
- Document service activities and communicate with internal teams
- Provide a high level of customer service in the field
Qualifications
- Mechanical or maintenance experience demonstrating technical aptitude
- Basic knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, or mechanical systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical job-site tasks
- Comfortable working independently and managing a field schedule
- Flexible availability to support customer and business needs
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Comfortable driving within the assigned territory
