Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop new complex PCB and CCA hardware, and create alternate solutions using existing designs.
- Ensure compliance with EMI/EMC requirements and verify performance at the unit level.
- Develop and document DO-254-compliant complex hardware.
- Perform system integration , author and execute detailed test procedures.
- Design and release Interface Control Documents (EICDs) and other supporting technical documentation.
- Support FRACA resolution , engineering changes, and design release processes.
- Conduct design verification and testing using appropriate lab equipment to validate integrity and performance.
- Perform product life cycle sustaining activities, including troubleshooting and component obsolescence management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or related Engineering discipline.
- 3–6 years of relevant hardware engineering experience , preferably in aerospace or embedded systems.
- Strong understanding of analog / linear circuit design , signal conditioning, and data conversion (ADC/DAC).
- Experience in Product/LRU and Printed Board Assembly (PBA) design verification and qualification.
- Knowledge of DO-254 (Design Assurance for Airborne Electronic Hardware) and RTCA DO-160 (Environmental Qualification).
- Proficiency with PCB schematic and layout tools , Mathcad , MS Excel , and LT-Spice for simulation and analysis.
- Experience with requirements-based testing and hardware validation.
Familiarity with avionics development life cycle , debugging techniques , and component obsolescence management .
