Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Mainframe Developer with strong expertise in DB2 application development and CICS administration . The ideal candidate will support and enhance enterprise mainframe applications, ensuring stability, performance, and efficient database operations in an AMS (Application Management Services) environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Mainframe DB2 applications

• Perform DB2 application development and administration tasks

• Support and manage CICS-based applications in production and non-production environments

• Troubleshoot application, database, and transaction processing issues

• Optimize DB2 performance through query tuning and database best practices

• Work within AMS support models to handle incidents, enhancements, and change requests

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for application support and upgrades

• Ensure compliance with enterprise standards and documentation requirements

Required Technical Skills

Primary Skills

• Mainframe DB2 - Application Development

• DB2 Administration (IT IS_AMS_Mainframe_DB2 Administration)

• CICS Administration (IT IS_AMS_Mainframe_CICS Administration)

Supporting Skills (Preferred)

• Strong understanding of mainframe environments

• Experience working in AMS / production support models

• Problem-solving and performance tuning skills

• Ability to work independently and within support teams
