Radiation Therapist – Travel Contract (Oncology)
Location: Watertown, New York (13601)
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Day Shift | 8-hour shifts (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
Start–End Dates: February 16, 2026 – May 20, 2026

Position Overview
We are seeking experienced Radiation Therapists for a 13-week travel assignment within a busy Oncology Department . This role offers consistent day shifts, guaranteed hours, negotiable pay, and overtime opportunities—ideal for therapists looking for a stable, well-supported assignment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver radiation therapy treatments according to prescribed protocols
- Operate advanced radiation therapy equipment safely and accurately
- Collaborate with oncologists, physicists, and clinical teams
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
Schedule & Compensation
- Day shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- 40 guaranteed hours per week
- Pay rate negotiable
- No on-call required
Requirements
- Active New York State Radiation Therapist license (in hand required)
- ARRT registration required
- Minimum 1 year of radiologic or imaging experience
- Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology
- BCLS certification required
- Experience with Varian TrueBeam, IX, and ARIA software preferred
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
