Job Description

Pride Health is hiring for a Radiation Therapist to support our client’s medical facility based in Washington, DC . This is a contract opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepares and applies ionizing radiation to the patient in accordance with the prescription and instruction of the Radiation Oncologist and under the general supervision of the Manager and Lead Therapist.
  • Operates all Radiation Oncology related equipment, i.e. CT simulator, linear accelerator, QA dosimeters, diode system, and various computer equipment.
  • Accurately delivers the prescribed planned course of radiation therapy according to departmental protocols and established practices and standards with minimum supervision.

Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required:

  • Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • Current CPR Certification required.
  • 2 years of experience
  • Completion of high school/GED or completion of college.
  • Elekta Experience is a PLUS

Additional Information:

  • Location: Washington, DC
  • Job Type: Contract- 13 weeks
  • 40 hours per week - (7.30 AM - 04:00 PM)
  • Pay Range/Salary Range: $2400/wk - $2600/wk
